The staff at Horizons Engineering live, work, and play in the North Country of New Hampshire. They are familiar with local and state government, and have intimate knowledge of the region and the people, as well as the beautiful natural environment. They understand
the opportunities and challenges many projects face as they progress from concept to completion.
Horizon’s executive team represents over 50 years’ experience in engineering and land services throughout northern New England. They are responsible for the staff development, strategic planning, office management, financial strength and development of services, among other responsibilities to the firm.
Horizons’ Civil Engineering group consists of Professional Engineers and Licensed Septic Designers regulated by their individual state boards of licensure, as well as Engineering Technicians performing many of the same duties under the supervision and review of a licensed engineer. The engineering group is focused on engineering design, permit applications and project management. Horizons engineers use AutoCAD Civil3d Software as their primary design platform.
Horizons’ Land Surveying group consists of Professional Land Surveyors regulated by their individual state boards of licensure, as well as Survey Technicians performing much of the fieldwork and drafting under the supervision of a licensed surveyor. The surveying group prepares existing conditions and topographic surveys in support of the engineering group projects, as well as stand-alone boundary, subdivision, permitting and other services apart from the engineers.
Horizons’ Environmental Services group consists of geologists, environmental technicians and erosion control specialists, each uniquely qualified to provide Horizons multi-faceted environmental services.
Horizons Administrative and Support group consists of CAD and IT Technicians working behind the scenes assisting the engineering, surveying and environmental staff with project needs, as well as administrative assistants preparing reports, overseeing daily office routines, answering phones and preparing client invoices.
