Horizons enjoys working on school and college campuses, hospitals and health care facilities, and with non-profit organizations.  We work with many institutional clients in partnership with full design teams to deliver site engineering services for building additions, renovation projects, and new building construction.  We have completed large-scale utility projects to provide distribution of campus-wide services such as district hot and chilled water, primary and secondary electrical, fiber optic and other communications, water main for domestic and fire suppression, and sewer main. We assist with pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular infrastructure improvements on campuses and have worked with schools and colleges on outdoor program infrastructure development such as Nordic ski trails, athletic fields, footpath trail systems, and more. Our team works with institutional clients to maintain regulatory compliance in an environment where many projects may be taking place simultaneously.  We enjoy the collaborative environment often found with institutional work and provide a grounded local presence for design teams from other parts of the country.
