Recreation Areas, Parks, and Athletic Fields

Horizons’ roots are in ski resort work and our team takes pride in working where we play.  Our civil engineering staff has worked with a wide range of recreational clients including ski areas, golf resorts, state and federal forests, state and local parks, and athletic facilities.  Our projects in this arena typically involve projects such as base area improvements, trail creation or modification, drainage improvements, snowmaking improvements, master planning, trailhead parking areas, athletic field layout and design, and boat launch facilities.
